March 13 is World Sleep Day. There is so much we know about the importance of sleep on our physical and mental well being, but for some reason it is still a low priority for so many.
As the dawn of a new decade, many of us will be taking stock of our lot in life. Like any other new year, many will make those firm commitments to eat less, drink less, strive for balance, learn mindfulness, and get into shape.
Sleep is extremely important to good health. After a night’s sleep you should wake up feeling rested and refreshed. For 25% of Canadians this is not the case.
